Habbits of successful people I have learned over the last 10 years. Nobody’s perfect and never will be, but it is constant learning and growth when being an entrepreneur. Take one at a time and practice it as long as it becomes part of your daily routine.

Successful people know their habbits, good or bad and they are aware which ones and what skills they need to develop in order to reach their goals. I put together a list of the ones I’ve worked on over the last 10 years. I recommend you always pick one and really master one at a time until that activity becomes a habit.

13 habbits of successful people you should master

  1. Take full responsibility for your life

Successful people don’t blame anyone, they don’t complain, all good and bad that is happening to them is because of the steps and actions they have taken, them, not anyone else. You cannot control everything, but the way you react to the circumstances, that’s your responsibility. This will help you to more positive mindset to attract more positivity to your life as well.

You need to be proactive and take initiative. Nothing will fall in your lap and noone will rescue you. If you want it, go out and make it happen yourself.

  1. Know your priorities

Prioritize. Know what’s the most important task and do that one first. Be more effective on right money producing activities. Focus on things that are MUST to reach your goal before spending time on activities that don’t lead anywhere.

  1. Create your own morning routine

You want to learn how to start your day right, so you are more productive. Most successful people choose activities that are motivating and inspiring them. They choose activities that boost their creativity and energy.

This is the time when you actually put most of the unnecessary things aside, your phone, emails and focus on yourself. Drink water, exercise, meditate, have breakfast, journal,

  1. Healthy lifestyle and exercise daily

Make this your daily practice. Daily exercise and healthy eating will grow your energy level and productivity. You’ll get more things done, feel more positive, and confident. It will influence everything else in your life.

  1. Reading books and personal development

Read & learn continuously and not just anything. Study what will help you move closer to your goal. Improve through knowledge books and implement so you get better.

  1. Stay focused and consistent

Don’t fall for any distructions, no shiny object syndrome. Stick with your priorities and activities that take you where you want to be. Small consistent action is a must to create anything great. You need to practice anything for 21 days straight stay consistent longterm. If you miss a day, start all over again. The longer you are consistent, the faster you master the habit or the skill and sooner you succeed at it.

  1. Follow through with what they say

If you say you will call someone, call them at exact time as scheduled. Take all your commitments seriously. No excuses.

  1. Don’t give up

Stay in a game no matter like every successful entrepreneur. Learn from what haven’t worked and do it better again.  Don’t be afraid to fail, it’s just a lesson and get things done – no matter how hard it is. I believe in you. You will make it happen.

  1. Know your strengths

Be aware of yourself, what you’re good at and where there is just no way and what you shouldn’t be doing. Know where you need to improve, learn and practice and make small improvements daily, just 1% improvement each day will turn your world around. Master your craft and use your strengths to your advantage.

  1. Gratitude

Tony Robbins says: “Success without gratitude is the biggest failure of all.” Gratitude is a way to live happy life. You know how awesome your life already is and how far you’ve come. You don’t compare yourself to others. You know you are doing great and more is to come which you are grateful for.

  1. Don’t work alone

You need to understand you are just one person and you cannot do it all. Everyone has the support in their family, friends, team, mentor, coach and others. These people help you on your way. It doesn’t have to be hundreds of people, but you need some kind of support system.

  1. Surround yourself with like minded achievers

You are the average of 5 people you spend the most time with. You have to surround yourself with people who inspire you and you learn from, people who have a plan to reach their goals and execute. You want go getters around who put in the work everything to achieve these goals.

  1. Love the proces

You need to focus not only end goal, but also you should fall in love with the journey. It will be always hard, there will be new obstacles and challenges. You will always have to learn and improve.

That’s why it’s so important to love what you do. Pro athletes don’t love the daily pain and workouts and sacrifices,but on the other hand if they skip it they feel miserable. They are committed to the process. The competition and win is the reward, but the process is what matters and they know it.
